What is this course?

This course covers the research that has looked at the cost-effectiveness of chiropractic care for neck and low back pain patients compared to conventional medical care. It also covers the research that has looked at the effects of chiropractic care on cerebellum brain processing.

Studies have shown that when health care claimants visit a chiropractor as their primary care provider they take fewer days off work.

  1. Summarise the literature that is relevant to the cost effectiveness of chiropractic care for patients with neck pain.
  2. Summarise the literature that is relevant to the cost effectiveness of chiropractic care for patients with  low back pain.
  3. Discuss the literature that has investigated how chiropractic care impacts cerebellar function.
