What is this class?

This course covers the latest basic science research evidence that has been done over the past two decades that has looked at what a vertebral subluxation is.

It also looks at what evidence we have for one of the old theories about the chiropractic subluxation (the squashed nerve theory). It also covers how the latest science can easily be communicated with the public.

The new science is showing us that the subluxation is almost as DD Palmer originally described it, just with a subtle new twist.

Learning Outcomes from this Online Class

  1. Summarise the lack of evidence for the old ‘bone out of place, squashing on a nerve’ model of the chiropractic subluxation
  2. Summarise the Neuroplasticity Model of the Chiropractic Subluxation and the effects of chiropractic care
  3. Summarise some of the changes that have been shown to occur in people with a history of spinal dysfunction
  4. Summarise some of the neurophysiological changes that have been shown to occur in people after a session of adjustments
