RM3.03 A Closer Look at Randomized Controlled Trials
Research Methods Level 3
This class takes a closer look at randomized controlled trials (RCTs). It starts with a quick recap about what an RCT is. It explores the different methods of randomizations, and their strengths and limitations. You will also learn about the different types of controls you can have as part of an RCT, and we will show you some examples of these.
Learning Outcomes
- Be able to describe different methods of randomization and blinding in randomized controlled trials.
- Be able to differentiate between parallel and crossover RCT
